  • The Bickering Ministers

“Surely, this! Surely, this is impending doom!” A minister let out a cry.

“What difference does it make?” A second asked. “In the end, we all die!”

A third minister butted in. “Let’s just fake it! The king should surely lie…”

“Why are we trying so hard?” A fourth pondered. “Everyday we should just eat pie!”

The first minister protested again. “It is the end, I say! Our certain doom!”

The second minister added. “This king says nothing as these crises loom!”

The third minister laughed. “Remember when we were in charge of this room?”

The fourth pondered further. “Not the right time to suggest cake, I assume?”

The king just watched from his dais as all his ministers argued,

He said absolutely nothing in this seemingly urgent minister feud,

This king was simply observing with an acquiescent attitude…

As the ministers’ problems mostly vanished when the king didn’t conclude.

  • Lead into Gold

    The great alchemical crossover

A violent opening of the doors within

I strip away all my love from my power

Revoking, thus, my power I have given to my pain

Seeing new truths of my becoming

It is time for the priorities to be rearranged

I give my power to my love

And then my love to my pain

For too long I was too proud to understand

Unaware of the end goal it was aiming for

All that sculpting and molding it orchestrated

My thanks, for all it has done, goes to my pain

Nonetheless, my love has taken the golden throne again

  • Our Childhood Nation

Waking eyes to a torrid desert land

    Exhaustive explanations and causes

An adventure gone in practical sands

    Boring unprofound poetry losses

No point to a life full of points

Unless there’s a narrative mending joints

Look to events untwirling before eyes

Go back to a way of seeing once known

One abandoned through a lie about lies

More like a strange place, a forgotten home

Clearing the air, it’s our childhood nation

    Riddled rhymes over imagination

  • God is Gay, Didn’t You Know?

Surely you knew that God is actually very gay,

Surely you knew that he is also in church to pray.

She walks a colorful parade with a rainbow flag,

He also doesn’t always get the ones that wear drag.

They are totally fluid in their gender expression,

But he is also a straight man without question.

Isn’t it strange the way God feels about God?

God fits into every category and is quite broad.

“I am that I am,” God said unto Moses,

Yet sometimes we do many fake poses.

Why so much conflict on the street you may ask,

But conflict you have within is also a curious task.

If we were supposedly made in the image of God,

The conflict within or without is not really that odd.

Only you can know who God is to you,

Your feelings and interests are a clue.

In this way, God is clearly a rainbow,

One that plays every color of this show.

I hope you can be whoever it is that you are,

I hope you can overcome your fear and scar.
