Lucifer, redeemed, approached the throne of the Lord and asked “why do you keep looking down there? Do we not have more important matters to deal with? Our battle here is of more importance.”
“Oh, beautiful Lucy,” God said. “Your pride is so wonderful. It really is, but sometimes it can really miss the mark. You know this well because you know many things… You know maybe more even than I. Now lend me your ear and your trust. I look down at the stage of Earth because I, too, need inspiration. They are made in my image and that includes your devilish contribution. Sometimes as we fight this fight, I look down and learn things from them. A teacher has a lot to learn from the student, as I have also learned a lot from you. Now look down and learn from those amazing creatures. We can learn from every single one of them!”
“Thus spoke the Lord!” Lucifer bowed.
The Lord stood and returned the bow to his shining angel. Lucifer shed a tear and the Lord wiped it away.
